About Us
Brackish Life was created in 2016, by owner/founder Kyle Poore, who grew up along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay on the eastern shore of Maryland. With so many "beach" and "salt" centric lifestyle brands, he sensed a need to represent people who make a living on or enjoy their bays, rivers, sounds and estuaries, so he created "Brackish Life" and his top-selling slogan, "A little salty. A little fresh." Â Brackish life is many things: hunting and fishing, exploring the shorelines for artifacts and enjoying a beautiful sunset, all while respecting and thanking our hardworking watermen who provide us with some of the best seafood in the world from our brackish waterways. Brackish Life is proud to support local watermen associations and Rink2Reef, building oyster reefs from refurbished hockey sticks. He asks us all to "Be More Brackish/Not So Salty" & live life "A little Salty... A Little Fresh."
